BTC & ETH Technical Outlook – 23/09/2025
Bitcoin is still holding its broader uptrend, but momentum is slowing. Price is sitting around $112.5K, right on the 20-week moving average at $111.7K, while stronger support sits at $109K and $99K. The RSI has cooled to about 56, showing weaker buying pressure, and the weekly MACD has flipped slightly bearish, signaling consolidation.
Unless BTC loses the 20-week level, this looks like a healthy pause within the uptrend. For now, expect sideways action between $109K and $120K, with a break above $120K needed to confirm the next leg higher.
Ethereum has pulled back after testing the $4,600 level, now sitting near $4,180 with a 6% weekly drop. Even with this dip, it’s still holding above a key support zone around $3,885, which will be important to watch if the pullback deepens.
The RSI has cooled to about 60, showing that momentum is easing after being close to overbought, while the MACD remains positive but is starting to flatten out. In short, ETH is still in an overall uptrend, but it looks like the market is going through a healthy correction, with the $4,000–$3,880 range acting as the main area buyers need to defend.
